A Big Thanks to those of you who visited us at our table at the United Con 17 this weekend, especially to those that bought our game. We know you will enjoy it!
The United Con 17 Adventure
Things started off interesting as Ken went to the convention (by himself since I still had to work at my "real" job that day) to set up and check into our hotel room, by meeting and chatting with Henry Winkler ("Fonzie" from Happy Days) in the elevator. I got there a few hours after the dealer room opened and found Ken sitting there like a wart on a toad and almost hit him when I discovered he hadn't sold a single game yet. By the end of the first day, however, we sold our very first copy of Chaos Isle (and an Add-on Pack) to a customer that wasn't a friend or family. That was a very exciting moment for us and we celebrated later on by overeating at a local buffet. After a solid night's sleep and a few tasty morning donuts we headed back to the convention. We had a very good day and sold a handful of Chaos Isle games and gave away plenty of flyers and met some interesting characters. Suspiciously, Ken met Henry in the elevator again that morning. Perhaps he felt Ken was stalking him, but it didn't stop us from giving Henry a free copy of Chaos Isle and the Add-on
Pack. Well, to be truthful, we sent our assistant, Angela, to give him the copy since seeing Ken again probably would have caused him to flee. At least she got a kiss and a free autographed pic for her troubles ("He's pretty hot for a guy that's about 60"). By the end of the day we were feeling good and pigged out again at the same local buffet. Unable to get up on time the next morning, Ken had to drag me out of bed after he feasted on a succulent breakfast at (you got it) the same local buffet. That last day was absolutely bereft of purchasers and we were surprised to sell one last copy of Chaos Isle before we packed things up for the return trip home. It was great meeting all the vendors and buyers at the convention and it was a great first experience for our company. Hopefully, we will see some of you at our next convention!

UPDATES
October 28, 2007
Finally! We will be attending our first Convention next week, November 2-4 at the Springfield Marriott in Sprinfield Massachusetts for the United Fan Con 17. We will be selling our Mission-Based Card Game, Chaos Isle: Zombi deck and its Add-on pack, along with Chaos Isle Posters and promoting Battle for Xen. We hope as many of you as possible are able to make it! This update we have another interesting piece of art from Christer in his Degerman's Canvas section, and we have provided an email address and further links to his work for those that are interested in viewing more or having him do commissions. Tales From The Void has yet again been updated with a new short story, this one quite a bit more on the serious side of things. It is a tale of fantasy entitled, 'The Harpy'. Enjoy. We have also added 3 new sections to our Forum for those that enjoy some of our other pages here rather than just the games or Ken's underwear! And it's good to see some of you writing in to tell us about your alternate rules for Chaos Isle; we hope to see more of the same.

Another quick update to let everyone know that everything should now be fixed on our web site. We have also performed a bit of maintenance, making things look a bit nicer in some areas. A new piece of artwork has been added to the Degerman's Canvas section and we have added yet another story to our Tales From The Void. Enjoy the updates and enjoy the site...bigger update with lots of Juicy Stuff coming next week!

Just a quick note to all our visitors: A few days ago the Web Host performed a maintenance, and as a result we have been experiencing some problems with some of the Pics showing up. We have obtained assistance from an old friend with the knowledge to fix this issue and we expect to have the problem corrected in a matter of days. Fortunately, this problem DOES NOT affect your ability to order Chaos Isle, or its Add-On Pack if desired.

Congratulations to Mr. Todd Pinciaro of Manchester, New Hampshire for being the first to purchase our Mission-based Card Game, Chaos Isle:Zombi Deck and its Add-on Pack. Enjoy the game! Anyone else interested in becoming part of the Chaos Isle experience please visit The Shop section of this web site. In just a few days there will be some good news for our overseas customers as we have been able to cut those hefty shipping rates by 40%. If you are from overseas and you plan to purchase the game, check back in a few days or so and you will find the shipping rates that much lower. This week we have a new story to present to you in our Tales From The Void section entitled, Doctor Craze. We'd also like to say Hello to all of you Ogamers that have visited our site, we hope you enjoy it! And since we managed to get away with a shameless plug on their website, it's only fair to mention them on ours. Ogame is a free space strategy game played with your web browser with thousands of other players from all over the world. Give them a look at www.ogame.org

At Last! The Chaos Isle cards have arrived! Yes, after many weeks of frustration the manufacturer has finally shipped us the cards for Chaos Isle, including the add on packs. This coming week we will be very busy preparing the final components for the game to prepare them for sale and to make them available for sale right here on our web site. We can tell you now that the cards have a beautiful protective gloss coating with eye-catching vibrant colors. Chaos Isle will be made available for sale for the very first time right here in our home state of Massachusetts in Hubbardston at the Rietta Flea Market this Sunday the 19th from 7-11 AM, so if you're able to make it come on over to see us and check out the game! Tales From the Void has been updated with a new fantasy story called 'The Harpy' so have yourself a look. Our on-line comic, 'Blood Canon', has been updated with page 2, which begins to build up the opening. We also have a new section entitled 'Degerman's Canvas'; featuring fantastic pieces of artwork by our very own cover artist, Christer Degerman. We will be updating this section every other week or so by adding new artwork, and the very first piece, entitled 'Distress', is quite enthralling. So good news all around and more to come!

It seems we are cursed with neverending problems and delays with the manufacturing of Chaos Isle. At this point, we are told they are being reprinted and a new set sent to us within about a week or so. Hopefully this time all will go well and we can all enjoy this great new game. In the meantime, we have updated quite a bit of the web site, with more updates to follow. There are 2 new short stories, "The Serpent and the Dove" (wonderfully illustrated by Christer Degerman) & "Lovers" (this one's not for the kiddies) gracing the Tales From the Void section. And we have actually inserted a picture of the three owners of RealmsMasters Game Forge in The RealmsMasters section. Feel free to comment on their great looks in our Forum. And, last but not least, we have a nice surpise for all of you! Beginning this week, we have a new section entitled "Blood Canon", which is a brand new comic illustrated by Adam Swangler, one of our artists, and written by a talented writer accomplice of his. Every other week we will post a new page from this comic on our web site. Enjoy!

Another quickie update just to point out a few changes here at the RealmsMasters Game Forge web site. First of all, and most noticible, should be the new background template. We've also changed the sample art in The Artists, specifically for Josh, Christer and Adam. And we have a Forum! Feel free to make comments, ask questions, make suggestions and all that stuff in our forum topics. Lastly, we now have a new section called "Tales From the Void", which is dedicated to short stories with a Fantasy, Horror and Science Fiction theme. We will be adding a new story every other week. Enjoy the new story "Szadzdor", about a cocky, swaggering alien taking a brief coffee break right here on Earth!

Just a quickie update folks to let you know what's going on. Chaos Isle is now in good hands from our new Printer based in Canada and we should be receiving Proofs of the cards any time now. As it looks right now the game and the add-on pack will be on sale around the end of May. We have also made some solid decisions regarding our new projects and updates to the web site which you should see very shortly. Our next update should confirm the status of Chaos Isle and inform you of at least one of our new projects, so stay tuned!

A huge change has occurred regarding our Mission-Based card game Chaos Isle. The cards were manufactured and we received them. Unfortunately, the card quality left much to be desired, and after much discussion with the manufacturer we have sent the cards back and have chosen another manufacturer. This new company has the samples and background to prove that they know what they are doing and we are very pleased to be working with them. The cost is more for us, but we didn't want to release an inferior product; we want the best for ourselves and our customers. Although this will push the release date back to about the end of May, the good news is that we were able to create an add-on pack for the game. More news about that when the release gets nearer. Until then, happy gaming!

It has been a long while since our last update, but what an update it will be! We have been told by the manufacturer that the Chaos Isle cards have been shipped to us and we should receive them within a few days! That means the game should be ready for sale sometime before the end of this month. There has been a lot of eager anticipation for this game and we can't wait to make it available to you! Also, after much work, the Battle for Xen Miniatures War Game System is available and ready for sale! Please visit the Battle for Xen page and Gallery for more info on this revolutionary product. Battle for Xen can be purchased by clicking on The Shop!

The gods have smiled down upon us and the files for Chaos Isle are on their way to the printer! With some luck and a strong following wind it will be ready for sale in about 4-6 weeks. Although Battle for Xen has proved to be somewhat of an ogre as far as setting it up for sale on our web site, we expect to have it ready within a week. Expect the Battle for Xen section to be down for a few days while we apply the finishing touches. In our last update I mentioned that some decisions have been made regarding future projects and some of them have indeed begun. In our next update I will leak a bit of info regarding these new games. In the meantime, you may sate yourselves by checking out the latest addition to our Artist profile and Gallery, Mandy Tuinila!

Wow! Things have been crazy lately. Battle for Xen is completely ready and we are in the process of setting it up for sale on our web site. Check out pics of the game in our Battle for Xen Gallery. All of the artwork for the Chaos Isle cards is now complete, and the game is in its final QC stages. A decision will be made shortly as to which manufacturer will get the job. Check out the brand new pics of some actual finished cards in our Chaos Isle Gallery. Work has also begun on two more brand new projects, but more about that later. For now, just enjoy the site and the new pics!

What a busy week! Playtesting this week was an extensive but enjoyable task. Check out a few pics from one of our playtesting sessions we held this week in the Chaos Isle Gallery. We've finally managed to set up an Artist section and this week we feature two of our artists whose artwork will appear in Chaos Isle. Have a look at them and a few samples of their art as well in the new Artists section. It's been up in the air all along as to whether or not we wanted to produce the cards for Chaos Isle ourselves or have them professionally printed and we have decided to have them professionally done. If all goes according to plan, we will have it in the printer's hands by the end of the year, and, if all goes well again, we should have the finished product in our hands before the end of February. Many fingers are being crossed...(some are being taped that way as well)...

Hello everyone-I'd like to introduce you to Eliott, our new Mascot! Yep-that's him over on the left. He's also sitting up there at the top of the page keeping an eye on our new Logo. But be careful-he DOES bite! More Art updates and text fixes have been added to the Chaos Isle cards. We have received the Artwork for the card backs and box cover, and let me tell you, it's really something special. We've picked up a few more Artists as well who have agreed to send some of their talent our way. Artwork is finally under way for Battle for Xen, so we will hopefully be able to deliver on our estimate of having the game ready before Christmas, but it will be tight. In talks with several companies to produce our cards for Chaos Isle, and looking into making the product ourselves. Playtesting should increase dramatically over the next few weeks with several groups at a time being involved. If you haven't checked out the new Gallery for Chaos Isle yet go have a look-we've added a few new card samples and they've all been updated as well. Likewise, if you haven't checked out our short story of "Z"-Behind Chaos Isle, feel free to have a read.
November 13, 2006
A set of cards for Chaos Isle has successfully been created for the playtesting session which begins tomorrow. This will be the very first time people other than ourselves will play the game. The deck has been changed to a set of 102 cards, as we have added 6 random Event cards to liven up the gameplay and keep players on their toes! We have also managed to make the game playable by just a single player, for those of you that like to play solo on occasion. Within the next couple of weeks we also hope to be previewing our Artists and more of the game on this website, but in the meantime you'll just have to sate yourselves with 'Z'-the story behind Chaos Isle (located in the Nav bar to the left).
November 6, 2006
We have been working hard on Chaos Isle and there have been numerous improvements to the game system and the artwork. We've finally acquired some victims...errm...I mean, playtesters to begin testing the game out starting next week. We've also managed to snag a few talented artists to contribute to our insanity, hopefully including one particularly original and talented fine young lady we hope to feature for our cover art: fingers are crossed. Battle for Xen still needs artwork to complete the system and hopefully we will find someone to create some Sci-Fi weapons, armor and items soon so that we can make the system available for sale.
October 20th 06
We are currently looking for ARTISTS, we are also looking for PLAY TESTERS in the Central Mass area.
